I finally got Cat Borhdi’s book from the library about knitting mobius strips. Only one surface, only one edge. It kind of hurt my brain to try to understand what was going on while I was starting to knit, but by the end it is perfectly clear and simple. A bizarre knitted incarnation of math. I knit it out of the last bits of that unraveled sweater from last year. Finished project #7. I’m still a little confused though in that as I knit a stitch there is a ‘right side’ and ‘wrong side’ of that stitch, but in the end if you follow that ‘right side’ around you end up on the ‘wrong side’....bizarre.
I had some problems accurately counting the stitches after I had cast them on, so I had to start over counting out loud as each one went on...and somehow I still ended up with two extra stitches. Oh well, it worked out perfectly this way and makes a super warm cowl.

One surface, One edge
