When we were little this was our favorite chair.  Not because of the delightful 70s orange floral pattern (although it did grow on me over time) but because that was the chair Dad would always read to us in...and thus was deemed...the cuddle chair.  The chair started out at the farm (above...Dad reading to me and my cousins).  Then it was in our famiy room (below left...me reading to Laura).  And eventually was rejected and I took it to college...where it stayed because it wouldn’t fit into the van when I moved back to WI.  I loved that chair, so I couldn’t just let it go to an unknown fate.  I kept the armrest covers and finally sewed every little scrap of fabric I had into this bag.  The leather handles I made on the Cramer from scraps salvaged off an old sail.  The button and green checked lining came from Grammie’s stash.  And this was my first project for 2010...only 51 left to go.
